A creative day on Tuesday 3rd October at Hopetoun Crescent Garden with Michael Bullen inspiring the children from Broughton Primary about the fascinating history and myths relating to trees. Learning about the size of the roots, the different seed pods and leaves also. Creative, interesting banners for our Storytelling Event on the 19th Oct in Hopetoun Crescent Garden were made with some lovely drawings on plant dyed cloth. A big thank you to the school teachers and classroom assistant plus committee member Rachel Blythe and to IKEA for their “Places called Home” funding for this project. Thanks also to Heather and Jordan for the loan of their amazing gazebo!
